What Is Inside The Black Square In Mecca? [Solved]
Well, tucked away in the eastern corner of the Kaaba is the Black Stone of Mecca. It’s been broken into pieces and held together by a silver band. Legend has it that this stone was given to Adam when he got kicked outta paradise, so he could get his sins forgiven. Pretty cool, huh?
Kaaba: The most sacred site in Islam, the Kaaba is a cube-shaped building located at the center of the Grand Mosque in Mecca. It is believed to have been built by Abraham and Ishmael and is considered to be the holiest place on Earth for Muslims.
Zamzam Well: Located near the Kaaba, this well was revealed to Hagar when she was searching for water for her son Ishmael. It has been providing water ever since and is believed to have healing properties.
Safa and Marwa Hills: These two hills are located near the Kaaba and are associated with Hagar’s search for water for her son Ishmael as mentioned in Islamic tradition. Muslims walk between these two hills seven times during their pilgrimage (Hajj).
Mina Valley: This valley lies just outside of Mecca and serves as a campground during Hajj where pilgrims spend several days performing rituals such as throwing stones at pillars representing Satan’s temptations, sacrificing animals, shaving their heads, etc..
Mount Arafat: This mountain lies about 20 kilometers east of Mecca and serves as an important site during Hajj where pilgrims spend one day praying for forgiveness from God before returning home from their pilgrimage journey
