Who Owned Mecca Before Islam? [Solved]
Well, before Islam came along in the 7th century, Mecca was a major pilgrimage spot and the centre of attention was this cube-shaped stone building. It’s been through a lot though - destroyed and rebuilt multiple times! Before that, it was ruled by various Yemeni tribes.
Kaaba: The holiest site in Islam, located in the city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is a cube-shaped structure that Muslims around the world face during prayer and pilgrimage.
